JP Maurice - Twins

‘Twins’ is the latest EP from JP Maurice released on January 1st, 2023. The 5-song album is a tribute to Maurice’s late mother who passed away on New Year’s Day in 2016. He found a tape cassette of originals and covers that his mom had recorded for her then boyfriend when she was 18. Accompanied by his sister, Kate Nash, JP took these recordings and turned them into fully formed songs that he produced and mixed at Blue Light Studio. Evoking more of a folky tone than Maurice’s past releases, the album is a whimsical tribute and truly a family affair.
